The next stage of technical re-equipment program is a construction of kilns and sawn materials processing facilities. This project implies complex substitution of out-of-date technologies and kilning equipment, which will allow to introduce automation into operational processes, lower production costs and enhance quality of the sawn goods produced.
The kilning unit will include kilning facilities of two types:
- tunnels (for drying of thin sawn goods);
- periodic exposure kilns (for drying of thicker sawn goods).
The drying equipment will by supplied by “WSAB OY” (Finland), a reputable manufacturer of high-quality timber drying equipment, particularly of kilns and automatic kilning management systems.
The projected kilning complex will include:
- a unit of 16 kilns by “WSAB OY” (Finland);
- a line for final processing of kilned goods;
- a buffer area for storing green stacks;
- sheltered areas for storing packages of finished product.
The new kilns that are run by the company are very effective, having low energy
consumption for timber kilning. For better efficiency the kilns are built in
the vicinity of the new sawmill, which allows cutting transport costs, as well
as energy waste in heat network.
The constant high quality of timber is adding competitiveness to the products on
the market, and to broaden the market niche. |
