Construction of a new boiler-house at the Tsiglomen production site was called forth by the need to continuously supply heat energy to kilns and to heat workshops during the heating season. There are two water-heating boilers in the boiler-house, each having an output of 2.5 MW. Equipment for the boiler-house and fuel storage were supplied by “POLYTECHNIK” (Austria). The heat carrier is water, heated to 110˚С. The automatic system takes account of all parameters and conditions of the technological and auxiliary equipment, eliminating necessity of constant presence of attending personnel. The water-heating boilers of the boiler-house in Tsiglomen are equipped with: special furnaces for burning bark with a hydraulic grate system; furnace gas recirculation set; air heater; automatic system with regulated oxygen supply, pressure reduction and output. This re-equipment allowed to: upgrade the drying process and hence improve quality of the production; reduce power costs; improve ecological situation in the Tsiglomensky and Isakogorsky districts of Arkhangelsk. .
